Building on PBA GmbH & Co. KG’s many years of experience in industrial and plant engineering, SDS Smart DryIce Solutions was established as a standalone business unit dedicated to professional dry ice technology.SDS focuses on technically demanding cleaning processes across virtually all industrial sectors—particularly where precise, material-friendly, and residue-free methods are required.

Christian Grapentin was brought on board as the responsible partner for the conception and implementation of this division. He possesses extensive practical experience in dry ice cleaning. He successfully built and established the Trockeneisbär brand, first in the service sector and later in the field of dry ice blasting equipment rental. In addition, a wide-reaching franchise partner network was created with his involvement. With this hands-on expertise, he perfectly complements PBA’s industrial expertise. As a result, our customers benefit from high-performance technology, expert advice, and reliable technical support—all from a single source.
